United Aerial placed second out of 17 business plan submissions at Louisiana State University's Venture Challenge competition. Clint Conroy and Taylor Jacobson were rewarded $7,000 at the event hosted by the Student Incubator, a university program that helps students start their own businesses.
Conroy and Jacobsen presented their idea- an aerial data collection company for construction companies, among other services- to a panel made up of local business owners, LSU faculty, and other entrepreneurs.
"In the next four years, I want to go completely nationwide. Forbes: that’s where I want to be. I think we’ve positioned ourselves pretty well between a couple of states, and I’m excited to see where it goes from there. I think the sky’s the limit. Literally,” Conroy said.
